He started as a Wrigley Field hot dog vendor and became a Sports Talk Radio Host on the Score and he's hosted Sports Television shows on WBBM and WJYS. He's been on the air along with former bears Dan Jiggets and Doug Buffone. He's interviewd a wide range of athletes ranging from Pete Rose to Walter Payton (today Walter would have been 54). He even recently sat in for Don IMUS one time on WFAN. Chicago's own Mike North will be joining us to talk about sports, the radio business and what he's up to these days.
The Flaming Greek will be calling the show (that's flaming like FIRE - not the other flaming). Chris Kyriakides will tell us how he cooks with a torch that looks kind of like a flame thrower. Hey, you gotta make a buck any way you can these days. Oopa!!
Last week, we didn't get to "The Stogie Guys" (Patrick & Patrick) (www.stogieguys.com) at their usual time spot. With massages and other distractions, we got lost. Fortunately, a caller reminded us to "get to the cigar talk" and he was right. Listen for the "Wise Men" of cigars as they give us tips about your next great smoke.
Nikki got a threatening call from Grandma after the show last week.
People tell us they get a kick out of Carlos. Funny cause every time Geoff talks about Carlos, he uses the word "Kick" a lot ... We'll see if he makes the cut for this show.
